The first 48 hours after getting eyelash extensions are crucial. During this time, it is recommended to avoid activities that can cause sweating, especially in humid conditions. Examples of such activities include swimming, showering, visiting saunas and spas, and tanning. Once the initial 48 hours are over, you can resume your regular routine as the lash adhesive will be fully secure. However, it is still advised to avoid high-temperature and humidity saunas as they can weaken the adhesive bond prematurely.

The longevity of eyelash extensions depends on the natural growth cycle of your lashes, daily facial cleansing routine, and physical activity. Refills are usually required every 2-3 weeks.

Please take note of the following guidelines to ensure the longevity of your eyelash or brow treatment:

– Be gentle with your new eyelashes or brows.

– For lash extensions, keep them as dry as possible for the first 48 hours.

– For lash lifts and brow laminations, keep them as dry as possible for the first 24 hours.

– Avoid hot and steamy environments, such as hot baths or saunas, during the first 24-48 hours, as moisture can impact the initial curing process.

– Do not use any waterproof or oil-based mascara or brow makeup. Use water-based mascara sparingly on your eyelashes, preferably from the middle to the tips, avoiding the base of your eyelashes.

– Avoid sports and recreational activities that cause you to sweat, especially those taking place in humid conditions (e.g. swimming, showering, visits to spas and saunas, and tanning).

– Do not use any creams, eye makeup removers, lotions, sunscreens, or cleansers containing oils on or near your eyelashes or brows.

– Avoid rubbing your eyes, brows, or touching your lashes with your hands or fingers.

– While difficult, try to avoid crying during the first 48 hours.

– It is advisable to sleep on your side or back instead of on your front for the first 24 hours.
